Welcome to Captain Morgan’s at 1692 E. Ashley on Folly Beach! This home is truly a piece of paradise on the Charleston coast! Captain Morgan’s offers stunning marsh, ocean, and Low Country views. Beautifully landscaped with a private dock for enjoying spectacular sunsets and abundant wildlife, including Monarch butterflies which stop here on their migration. The comfortable marsh-side furniture on the large deck off of the kitchen invites lounging and conversation, perhaps while you cook up your catch of the day on the top-of-the-line gas grill. For the adventurous side in you, drop the kayaks in the river at high tide to explore the extended beauty of the marsh side of the island. Head to the beach easily with the public beach access directly across the street. 

Inside, you’ll find gleaming wood floors, an open floor plan anchored by a stunning fireplace and exposed ceiling beams. Walls of windows bathe the interior of this special home with plentiful natural light. Enjoy Wi-Fi, flat screen TV's in every room and a state-of-the-art Sonos sound system. The chef in you will be delighted by the eat-in kitchen featuring granite countertops, a bar, dishwasher, filtered water and all the culinary tools needed to create a low-country feast. The indulgent main floor Master suite offers a king bed, luxury bedding and linens with a private balcony for sipping morning coffee. A romantic fireplace connects this bedroom with the Jacuzzi and walk-in double shower. There’s a bunk room upstairs, on the second floor for the kids. On the bottom floor, a separate living area with a patio, queen bedroom, sleeper sofa, full bath and washer/dryer.  

Four bedrooms and three full baths sleep 12 comfortably on three levels, giving everyone a welcome balance of privacy and togetherness. Moments from downtown Folly’s restaurants, surf shops and boutiques, Captain Morgan’s is also about 20-25 minutes from historic Charleston for sightseeing, shopping and world-class dining. 

Our home is non-smoking and pet-free. No events are allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent our home. Kayaks are found underneath the house and are for guest use at the guest's own risk. Guest License Agreement and separate disclaimer must be signed by guest, as home owner and Carolina One are not liable for damages or accidents, should guest choose to use kayaks or other provided amenities. As a word of caution, please be very aware of the tidal charts. At low tide, there will be very little water, if any, in spots of the river. The boat lift on the dock is not for guest use.
